Two reasons for avoiding going to the dealer
#13
Better to have the coolant expansion tank show the level being a little high when the engine is hot than a little low. It does expand when hot...If the level were low when hot, you wouldn't have enough in there.

I have seen dealers buff cars with a rotary in hands that have no clue how to use one. Lots of nice filler polish and wax. Next wash comes around and buffer trails appear, looking worse than swirls!

Car guys usually avoid dealer washes. If you have any doubts check out the paint finish and condition of the clalipers and unswept portion of the brake discs on the dealer's loaner cars. After repeated dealer washings, loaner cars under a year old, with less than 10K miles frequently look over 10 years old.

I can't believe some people get excited about free swirls when they get service done.
On our last visit, I said "No Wash" but apparently, I should of also said No Vacuum.
They dented the aluminum piece around the swifter when vacuuming the car which I caught the sec I got into car.
To dealer's credit, they did replace the whole part but I sure was not excited about getting the center console taken apart.
Just service my car or do specifically what I ask you to do and please do not touch anything else.

1/5th of a quart is like nothing, how were u able to measure that? Don't really think that would ever be an issue with ur engine anyways.
Same with the coolant, what's the big deal? Why are u looking under the hood anyways?

Guys, thanks for the input.
Both "issues" I mentioned are indeed not a big deal, it's about attention to detail.
The reason I checked coolant level after they topped it up was: I noticed quite a few drops of liquid under the car in my garage. This was after 20min driving. Basically, the excess coolant was dripping out all the way home.
The picture shows the proper coolant level (when came out of factory). When cold, it's about 70% to max. When hot, it's just above the max line.
