Ok, thanks for that. When I looked that function the owner manual read it was for oil change only. I could be wrong, so I will try it when I do the 15000 mile service. I was just asking if anyone had direct knowledge of the 15000 mile service reset. There must be a few owners that do their own service. I was hoping to tap into their experience in this matter.

Good luck to you!
FYI, for my 2014 SQ5, there was one additional step required to activate the menu (it was grayed out even after doing the VAG-COM changes and the green menu changes noted in the thread earlier:

in the green menu:

car -> carbussasignment -> Interior light - change setting to "[CAN Komfort] 1/9"

I was wondering if someone who reads this post and knows how to achieve this (display the hidden menu) with a RossTech cable? Is this possible at all? I do not own the VAG cable.
Advice is very, very much appretiated. Thank you very much in advance.

Probably there is only the mmi reset When I tried I did not succeed.

The service reset probably it has to be done online with their diagnostic. The mmi reset is what I am using. If you wish you can vary this to 7500km or 15000km. or 10000km with vcds.

So I only use the reset button since it is perfect as a reminder. You do t really need the service reset.

I think I used the Carista app to reset the service interval. OBD-11 probably does that too.
