Audi USA's own audicollectionusa.com web site lists 000093056A as the correct Emergency Warning Triangle for all models. Are you sure the one you received won't fit?

I cannot imagine that it would be different for any other Q5 engine model.

A thought...
Maybe you take it out of the case when it is placed in the Q5 tailgate compartment?
MP4.2+, any recollection of a case?

I bought the one offered at ECS and it DOES NOT fit. It's too big for my 2011.

I assume you're talking about the little long rectangular opening in the mid part of the lift gate, right?
It looks like it will fit but just is just a little too wide for the clips to grasp it.
Unfortunately, the person helping me at ECS wasn't very "helpful" -- I asked a bunch of questions because they have two parts with the same part # but he pushed me -- and now I'm stuck with it (high restocking fee). >

It doesn't fit with or without. There are two little clips that appear to maybe hold a "case" in place or maybe just the triangle alone, but not my case -- it's way too wide.

I took mine over to my local dealership and he didn't believe me -- he walked out to one of the other Q5's in service and saw for himself it didn't fit. He was going to call me back -- but you know how that goes... :/

The ECS website specifically says it will fit the 2014 cars, so I hope they would not charge a restocking fee.
EDIT: Ok, it says Audi Q5 2.0T > Interior > Trunk. It doesn't say 2014, but hopefully ECS would make it right if it doesn't fit.
