Would you buy again? 2014 Audi Q5 TDI
I'm about to pull the trigger on my first Audi, and wanted to know if owners of this model would buy again. Specifically looking for reliability feedback.
My last four cars were Lexus, all purchased new. They've all been great, but Lexus doesn't make anything with performance that also has great mileage. The TDI is one of the few SUVs that can do both.
Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Absolutely! I love my 14 Prestige TDI. Perfect combination of power and fuel efficiency. I've got 33k on my odometer and it's had a few minor issues (sunroof rattle which is common & GPS software that needed to be updated to correct a mapping issue) otherwise it's been great

I came from an 06 Lexus IS350 owned since new. I know what you are saying about the Lexus SU/CUV lineup..either the ugly NX or the bad mpg RX.
So far I like my 15 TDI (3500 miles so far). I will say that Lexus is better in several areas such as the Nav system, and basic user interface things like the radio..example...If you go to the radio screen and select the presets, then go to the nav system you can click from one preset to the next..but if you shut down in Nav mode, the next time you start up you can't click from one preset to the other..you have to back to radio mode, select presets, then go back to nav...Also if you are a DIY oil chnager be warned that there is no physical dipstick..just the electronic one in the MMI..
The power and mileage of the TDI is great though...yeah I would probalby do it again..

For sure. I started out with the 2013 2.0 Q and now have the 2015 TDI. I may try the SQ next but the TDI is awesome. No idea about long term as I trade cars in as soon as they need tires.

Well I couldn't come up with a good reason not to get one, and when I drove to Detroit to see it, from Columbus, I was sold. The price was just too good to pass up.
Thanks for all of your feedback. Next thing will be a stop at Audi Service to check everything out while it's under warranty.

Definitely. The TDI is an amazing engine - fun to drive and super efficient. Something you can't really find easily. Couple that with Audi quality, AWD, and utility and you can't really beat it.
