Default 2018 Q5 OEM wheels question (offset/weight)

Thinking of using my current OEM 19's for winter setup and looking for aftermarket set of 19 x 8.5 rims for summer.

2 questions:

1. Considering wheel will be .5 inches wider, what's the offset range recommended that will not negatively affect the vehicle and suspension components?

2. What's the stock offset and weight of OEM 19 five arm wing wheels?

I have the same rims, and am planning to do the same. I love the car, but I am not real fond of the rims.

I do not know the weight, but the offset is ET39. I am looking at wheels with offsets between 32 and 35.

Here is a handy tool that shows the effect of different widths and offsets. https://www.willtheyfit.com/

If you don't want to deal with centering rings, you will want a wheel with a center bore of 66.56.

Thanks for the detailed info RLL!
Only reason I was asking about weight is because I don't want to get rims that are heavier than OEM.

Any luck finding your rims yet? Share some pics!

No, nothing yet. I have it narrowed down to a few options, but I can't make my mind up.
