2018 SQ5 - a few minor issues are adding up.
I’ve had my 2018 SQ5 for just under a year, only 5k miles and starting to get a bunch of small issues which are starting to bug me.
- the well documented window issue, ie: hit up, window goes down.
- back window mechanism sounds like it’s in the verge of failing,
- air con coolant ran out, refilled, but dealer couldn’t find the leak.
- tail gate lock door button only works half the time.
- getting a weird vibration on the front left wheel, up through the steering wheel, noticeable when doing 70-80mph.
If if I read correctly, these SQ5’s came off the new factory in MX? New production line issues?
At this point in time, I really miss my old 2014 Q5, which came out of the German factory.
I’m leasing, so I won’t be sad when I give this car back.

Sorry to hear....you seem to have more than your share! Some of them should be an easy fix. Left front vibration could be balance, bent wheel or tread separation. None of those would be a factory problem. T.S. could result in a blow out so nothing to mess with. There are other possibilities but less probability.
Mine is 13 months, 16000+ miles and not a single issue. Fantastic mileage, fit and finish great. Audi likely outsources most of the components that would cause your issues and maybe some quality control issues there. I am wondering about dealer service-these are very complex vehicles and complex tech. There will always be a % of issues so diagnostics and the dealers ability to fix them are important.
