Hello all...

My wife and I decided to purchase the sq5 last week ... Beautiful car, but drives like a turdbox... Is this normal?

Based on my 2019 SQ5 ownership, I would say that's definitely not normal. Mine steers perfectly straight until the road bends or I hit a bump.

Nope, not normal at all. My SQ5 drives dead straight, straightest I've ever had a car drive without steering input. Somethings off, I'd bring it back to the dealer.

Definitely not like mine. Mine is straight as a pin.

thanks yall. we took it back to the dealership and they said.. nothing they could do and to see what happens.

According to their alignment machine (which said at the top 2018 q5) everything was within spec. I dunno.

Its a sweet ride though - quantum gray with 21" wheels and black quilted interior.

Check air pressures? Get a alignment check elsewhere. As others I can go straight if I let go, as long as it is going straight in the first place.

Double check to make sure it’s not lane assist. When my car was new I thought my car wasn’t tracking straight either. Turn it off and see if the problem goes away.

+1 on lane assist. Neighbor just bought a 2019 S5 'vert and complained of the same thing. Shut off lane assist and problem gone.

Thanks for the replies...

We turned off the lane assist (it's off in the video)... With it on the car drives like a Roomba continually bouncing off the right line.
