These are high end stainless exhaust components with valving, $1,200 is pricey but worth it if you want that feature.

Wouldn't hesitate adding these to my 18 SQ5 if I had the correct lower valance, serious upgrade to the rear end of the SQ5

Same...wish there was a way to retrofit to a '19.

No, its not “with valving”. It re-uses the stock electronic valve, it just has a mounting post. Any competent muffler shop can remove the electronic valve bracket from the original outlet pipe and weld it onto the custom set of tips that they make.

$1200 is even more ridiculous when a complete AWE catted exhaust is $2000…

No welding required. Valve included, just need to swap the electric actuator. Maybe watch the vid that you posted earlier. That part is near the end of the vid.

You’re right, I was talking about just moving the actuator bracket. I forgot about the flap in the pipe.

Regardless, $1200 is stupid when a full exhaust is $2000.

If anyone can find a muffler shop that can fabricate these at the same quality or even close quality to the OEM quality with the valve built in let us know

Read a thread before you reply, I already said I was wrong right above your post.

But keep on keeping on thinking $1200 is a good deal for these.

Incredibly My dealer just informed me yesterday that the Hot Exhaust ordered with my SQ5 Sportback Audi in February is not available as the Sportback diffuser is different so it doesn’t fit! Supposedly Audi will be redesigning this but will not be available for my delivery next month. Unbelievable it took Audi 3 months to inform me about this “problem.”

I agree. I do enjoy my hidden tips that I do not have to clean. I do still need to clean the boss's tips on her A3.

I get the idea that $1200 is expensive (I agree for just the exhaust), but it must come with the lower valence as well, correct? How else would you pass the new tips out? My 2018 is just fake honeycomb into the lower bumper.
