I noticed this weekend that all of a sudden on Saturday the alarm doesn't chirp when locking the doors. All the doors/truck lock. The mirrors retract but no chirp. I also noticed when this happened now the lock lights on the driver /passenger doors don't light up. The middle light in between the lock/unlock button on the door no longer lights up. The middle light was always a solid red...no nothing.

Does anyone know what happened?

Check your settings in the MMI.

I did. The alarm chirp is still activated. My biggest concern is the fact that my lock/unlock middle red button is not turning on also

I'd start with a vehicle scan, if you're not getting the chirp and the red light between the locks, then that typically means the anti-theft system is not activating.
Can you try getting into your Q5, with ignition/engine completely off, close the door/windows/sunroof, and lock the vehicle so it thinks you've left, then see if the alarm triggers via interior motion detection after around 30 seconds.
Could also be a sign of a bad battery, Q5's do a lot of weird stuff when the energy management system is active.

If it's the chirp part the number is : 5Q0-951-605-A which is shared across many models/makes, should be cheap to find.
