Default Buy a Q5?

Considering a 2018 Q5 (25K miles.) Wise decision to buy or wiser decision to not?

I purchased a 2018 Q5 8k miles, CPO. I absolutely love the vehicle. It now has 14k miles.

25K is a bit more than normal mileage but it could be a great deal if most of these miles are on the freeway instead of city.

Why not choose a Korean hatchback with 7 years warranty instead of an used Q5, wiser decision.

As my 2018 SQ5 remains in the shop 4 days after completing the sale - I wish I had taken this advice! Ugh...

Check that...it's a 2017 Premium Plus. I've seen a lot of stuff on the web that indicates this car (and other model/years) are fraught with issues, one (me), would not expect to find when you are spending 30K on a used car.

Consumer Reports shows the 2017 Q5 to be pretty much trouble free. But be aware that repair costs when needed for both parts and labor even from an independent shop will be on the high side.
And finally, you might want to check in the Mk I forum for your car. This forum is for the Mk II, which was pretty much redesigned from the ground up starting in 2018 model year.
Good luck whichever way you go.

That is a older generation. In 2018 the newest version came out and is still in production. There is a forum for that version here, but this is for the newer one.
You should check that form out.
