I wish the headlights were easily height adjustable to do this on the highway and drop them in the city. Had a Evo back in college that had a little thumb wheel thingie next to the steering wheel for height adjustment. Only car I've ever seen that has this option

Usually associated with Halogen headlights to adjust for a heavily loaded car. At least in the UK. Some lower specified vehicles still have this facility. Not Audi Q5's to my knowledge.

The Germans "auto level adjust" when you start the car, so that "should be taken care of" already. Doesn't help low pointed lights though.

Nope this was with factory HID. Can't imagine too many people are loading up an Evo to use as a hauler.

Are you in the UK? Thought not! Please do not call me a liar!
My wife's SEAT IBIZA had a thumb wheel to adjust the height of the Halogen headlights, and we used quite often after she had been driving it by herself and then loaded the boot (trunk) with suitcases and put 4 extra people in it.
Thank you

Yikes! Chill out homie, he didn't mean any ill intent. My STi also had a headlight adjustment **** on the dash to level the HID lights. Pretty common on early HID lights.

Wait, what? I have Laser headlights on my US-spec Audi.

Of course, it is a 2018 R8 V10 Plus.........and it will never see night driving. How ironic.

No kiddin, didn't realize that happened already. Very cool! It appears it's just to supplement high beam and not low beam, correct?

Either way, definitely cool and a step in the right ditection

It replaces both beams, but it's only on the high end Audi models (A6, A7 A8 -- maybe e-tron so far). There are some really slick YouTube videos showing how it works, how it can "paint around cars" as you approach them, etc.
