Default Heads up about OEM hitch install

One a special shout out to Mickey from Audionlineparts who really helped out and went above his job. Turns out you get a small booklet with an activation code, an activation number and a PIN code that you MUST have to complete the computer coding that is required. Needless to say I had no idea and threw out the small CD sized piece of paper. Mickey attempted to call my dealer several times to help them with the info then he was able to get me a new activation code and email it to me. I had my local mechanic install the hitch and the harness. He ran into one issue with the harness that my dealer had to help us on. Dealer was expensive when you bring in an install from someone else so keep that in mind. I was charged 2 1/2 hours labor to code the car and relook up the blue wire. Needless to say everything is now working perfectly. My mechanic owed me some money so ultimately it worked out for me.

You could have just added this as an update to your original post about the issue you had.
