Default Help trying to diagnose a pre sense communication error.

2017 Q5. I’ve replaced the front camera and removed trim following the cables from the camera along the headboard, a pillar, and front drivers footwell. Still getting the following errors. All looks good.

Would love any help diagnosing this. The windshield has been replaced and I was hoping to find an obvious disconnected connection or cut wire but don’t see any.

U112100: Databus missing message,
B201000: no basic setting
B136604: Rain/light recognition sensor faulty.

In addition to a pre sense fault every time the car starts, the rain sensor for delayed wipers does not seem to work when raining.

"no basic setting" is some messed up Audi fault, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Presence doesn't use the front camera as far as I know, that would be the parking sensors/radars (I think! -- but might be wrong). As for the wipers, the rain sensor is under that cover for the forward facing camera on the windshield.

Thanks. Any info on where to start troubleshooting would be awesome. Quick look under the hood and bumper and don't see anything that would look like radar/speed sensors.

When you say "front camera" are you talking about the windshield one, or the grill one? The grill is nothing but parking. The windshield one maybe does the presence though. There was a forum thread that listed all that out a long time ago (sorry don't have a link though)

Maybe try unplugging the rain sensor under the mirror? If it's faulty, it might be taking down the communication bus which is preventing the front facing camera from working.

I am referring to the camera on the windshield.

Ahh ok. then I'd try what I posted above then. Sorry, I was thinking grill camera in my first post, which does nothing.

Removed the rain sensor. No difference. Still getting the same PreSense error

The auto light sensor going to the mirror is also on that line. When I removed the light sensor, I did get an error that it was not functioning.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Also, This is for a 2018 Q5. Sorry for the error with the OP.
