Default iPhone XS Max Cell Phone Mount Options

I am interested in seeing your different cell phone mounts that you might use in a 2018 Q5s. I have an iPhone XS Max so need something pretty secure. I would or efer something that would be easy to dock and undock the phone on entry and exit but also want something that won’t fall off on a bump or sudden stop.

Try a Steelie. I have one that clips to the air vent. It’s magnetic and it works well. I wouldn’t normally like a vent clip but this one is pretty low profile and well made. Worth a look, check out their website.

Do do you have a link to the one you are referring to?

I have stick on Basus magnet mounts. I think the best mounting point is the bezel around the screen on the dash. It's not that expensive if you ruin it, and the clip ones for vents are very able to break yuour vents and they work loose.

I have two magnetic mounts, one on both sides of the screen. The metal disks just stick to your phone/case and they hold even over very rough roads around here. (Washboard at 70 mph for example.)

Thank you for the reply. Any chance you can provide a link to the one you have. I see many on eBay so before buying one I’d like to have a better idea of which one you are talking about.

I bought this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7VARIG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7VARIG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've never had my XS Max slip out, it keeps it very secure and that's even if I clip it to the top 1/3 of the phone and not at the midpoint.

Thanks for the link. This is exactly what I want. Something small but strong enough to hold. I’m curious though, do you happen to use a wireless charging pad at any point with the metal plate on your phone? I don’t need to worry about that in the car but at home I charge my phone with a wireless charging pad and am concerned with the plate on my case the charger won’t work.
