Latest software version (MHI3)
Dear all!
Still trying to understand Audi software world. And wondering should I demand a software version update to the latest during my first scheduled visit or not?
Have no complaints at the moment. But maybe something doesn't work the way it should work and I have no clue about it.
My Q5 (EU model) has MHI3_ER_AU_P3801 software installed (manufactured in the beginning of 2023).
Found a file on mibsolution named MHI3_ER_AU_P3853_8W0906961BA.7z
Not a significant but still a number bump.
Thanks!!

P3853
I’ve just gone from K3283 to P3620 and then P3853.
There are improvements, on K3283, resetting the MMI never worked anymore. It was battery off, then reset would work. There is a new swipe life option on my main screen. Support for Bluetooth headsets is now included. The UI has new apps and a new layout format. The cars data connection only now shows on startup and not when the car is running. At least it does in my vehicle since the update, but everything is working as it should. I imagine this is to declutter the UI. My phone connection always shows on the MMI, so the key difference is both don’t show all the time. I would be interested if this is the same for others on P3853. As I say, nothing is wrong or broken and I scanned the car with VCDS and ODBeleven with no faults.
There are fixes and there are improvements.
