This message appeared on my phone a few months back and I've just ignored it. I'm afraid if I log out of the MMI I won't be able to log back in because this entire system is so buggy. The iOS app gets the status updates from the car so whatever.

Mine is only 7 digits - 0000000

There is an 10-character code on the left side but it's all letter and arranged like:
AAAAA
AAAAA

Off topic a bit, but now the app is connected again (3 days later). So probably not an app update problem, but a system connection problem I guess.

I recently got a new phone, and I am not sure if this message was there before, but I'm guessing not. Regardless, where in the MMI do i do that?
I've been getting the same message for months. I've worked with Audi Customer Support for several hours, but it's still not working correctly. Several months ago they said the problem was escalated, but it’s still not working correctly. I think this will be the last Audi I ever own. I'm going back to BMW.

it's hardly a lot of trouble to do, but if it's not fully and completely setup, it does not work as intended. For some 2021's (not all), there is a Verizon error which has to be resolved by Audi AG, and which Audi USA can do, on a VIN by VIN basis. This was due to the initial migration over the Verizon's platform. I've personally only had a handful of the 60 or so 21's I sold, and they were all taken care of within a couple of days of reporting the issue for my clients. Your dealer can do it too for you, via a Zendesk support ticket. If you're past the "free trial" period (6 months from delivery), they can easily continue that for you for a fresh 6 months. I haven't had a single error on any 2022's yet, and I've sold at least as many of those too by this point.

what you may or may not be missing depends on the spec of the vehicle. Some more info:

Thanks for this information as I do have Verizon. I also spent hours on phone with AOA and they did not provide the correction, other than to suggest re-registering my name, so I will go back to my Dealer with your suggestions to see if they can resolve this annoying error message.

Anyone else seeing this now? @SCarGuy , you said you were able to log in a client yesterday. That might have been before or after the update.
This pisses me off as I occasionally have to park in an area where cars have been stolen, and with the app functioning I at least knew it was safe.

Is this a bug or have Audi switched off connection to the app?

Mine stopped functioning on the 24th, then on the morning of the 27th started working again (without any change from me). Then this morning (28th) and all day today isn’t working again. And the main screen looks a little different.
