NA ACC control stalk
Just curious. For those in the US who have ACC on their Audi, does the control stalk light up when engaged? I retrofitted ACC to my 2019 SQ5 and noticed the stalk doesn’t illuminate like the “old” non-ACC one did. I also have “LIM” on top of the stalk. Thanks…

Are you sure that's the right stalk? I was initially not going to respond because my experience is with A4s, but I happened to stumble on a photo of a Q5 stalk while doing some search into Q5 wood trim and the stalk in that photo matches the stalk of my A4s.
Yours has very different text everywhere, e.g. "distance" instead of "dist", and on the top.
And yes, the stalks in my two A4s have had the same lighting behaviour where turning cruise on lights up additional areas on the stalk.

LIM (speed limiter) is a european feature.

I don't know if my cruise control stalk lights up at night or not. I don't drive all that much at night. It doesn't look exactly like the one pictured, however. It's a little hard to see from a comfortable driving position, meaning you have to move your head forward to be able to see it.

Scan the car for faults, maybe some coding needs to be done. Might be the component protection for your new stalk assembly hasn't been removed. Cruise control stalk should light up partially when lights on and when pulled back, all the words on the stalk should be completely on.
