I pressed a few times the manual button to reset the elapsed miles and the center of the virtual cockpit changed to a data screen. It was pages of code very small print. Not sure how I did it as I think I pressed the start as well. Restarted the car and it went back to the normal display. I believe I stumbled on a coding screen, sorry did not take any pictures.

I had the same thing happen to me last week on my 18 Q5 as well - I didn't have time to look closely at it as I needed to get on the road. Some of the code had reference to other VAG brands - I saw Bentley toward the top of the first page. I'm not sure what else was in there, but you are right - very small print and it scrolls down for quite a while. I enacted it the same way although I'm not sure of the exact sequence. I pressed the odometer reset button a couple of times and hit the start button in some combination that opened it.
