Default Q5 2018-2020 differences??

In the market for a Q5 and would like to know what revisions were made between 2018-2020 (non aesthetics) mechanical fixes to known issues specifically. Also any issues known for the 2nd gen??

I know early builds don’t have Active Lane Assist on the upgraded models but the newer ones do.

yes they did - it’s been offered since 2018 in Prestige’s
2020 can configure it in a premium plus

differences? Packaging differences as far as options are mainly it. No substantive changes otherwise

wireless charging became offered in 2019.

No they don’t. I know since I have one.

Are you sure that you can't activate Active Lane Assist with OBD Eleven? If you have Pre-Sense, you should be able to activate this feature (unofficial way to add this feature).

I work for Audi

it was available as an option in a Prestige beginning with the 2018, which is the first model year for the current chassis.

Starting in 2019, Audi added the wireless charging phone box. Not sure which trims have it.

I own one. Fully loaded. It didn’t come with it. Not with the early builds. Maybe it did in the states but not in Canada.

and yes I could activate it with OBDEleven. But this is about what vehicles came with.

I am driving a 19 Q5 Loaner with Premium Plus, and it has the wireless charging. 30,000 mile service on my 18 PP, been a great vehicle, still enjoy driving it every day, about half a quart oil use in 10K interval.

If you are US, look at the Q5 PHEV. With the $6700 credit, it has SQ5 power, local driving without using gas, and only costs a couple of Thousand more than the Q5.
