I was able to get 4% off but no dealers would go any lower. I feel like I didn't get that good of a deal compared to others... was hoping the discount could bump me to 6% as I haven't taken delivery since it's a customer order. I only payed a downpayment but didn't actually sign the deal.

Has anyone tried using TrueCar to get a better price?

How much better were you able to get it on your own? 2% better? $1000 better?

Best way hands down is to get dealers to compete with each other. You can use true car to start the conversation but ultimately it comes down to if you have other options.

Up in NorCal, I ordered a Q5 Prestige with MSRP of $54,330 and will be paying $49,070 with additional free Audi Care and Audi Guard Protection Kit & Cargo Cover. Once i add the tax and license fee the OTD price will be $53,571.

Which dealership in NorCal? Did you have dealers compete against each other?
