Default SQ5 Front Parking Sensor Cover Missing

Has anyone else had an issue with the front parking sensor covers falling off? I returned this morning from a weekend trip to the Colorado mountains (it was very cold, snowy and icy) and both front parking sensor bumper covers had fallen off the front. I didn't run into anything so have no idea how this happened. Perhaps someone could have taken them off?

I should mention it's a 2018 SQ5 that I purchased a couple of months ago.

Those are not the parking sensors. They are where the headlight washers would go where they are equipped in other markets. With that said, I've never heard of the covers falling off.

Thanks for clarifying. I guess I'll have to order some new ones?

Last weekend I had to have it towed out of the mountains due a screw in the sidewall and no access to a tire that fit within 150 miles. Maybe the tow truck driver could have inadvertently loosened them.

may i guess, due to frozen in icy weather, headlight washers (containing liquid) and cover might have broken off from inside and fallen off?

I'm guessing that the tow truck driver removed it assuming that's where the tow hook is for your vehicle. Since many Audi vehicles have the tow hook placed precisely where you've indicated.

The tow driver removed a piece of the plastic grill just below the wiper cover for the tow hook. The covers were on the vehicle when I drove up Friday and gone when I got back. All of this being said, I was very happy with the performance of the vehicle on snow and ice.
