Valve cover gasket leak

Valve cover gasket leak
Dropped off the 2017 Q5 for annual service at the local indy shop. 55k mileage. Now they are saying the valve cover gasket leaks and needs to be replaced.
The quote is insane - labor - $960, parts $64. Is it reasonable or should I look around?
I have been taking it to them for the past several years and they are well-reputed in the area. So not quite sure if it's even worth looking around for a cheaper quote.
I did go on a 5 hour road trip last week and hit 100mph. Read somewhere that high speed causes this kinda leak sometimes. In that case, should I worry about it since the trip is over and I will only be using for daily commute maybe around 60-70mph.
Also front two break pads, rotors, sensors needs to be replaced as well. (quoted 1k)
Please advice.
