I finally got my car updated from 3606 to 3853 yesterday to hopefully resolve the constantly disappearing favorites issue. The downside is the car has reverted to locking down a lot of menu options as soon as the car is in motion. Tried a battery pull and MIB reset which didn't work. Verified all nhtsa options are still disabled via OBDeleven. Maybe it was a different setting somewhere?

Edit: Disabling the menu locks was hiding under "Locked Menu Contents" adaptations. *smack*

How did you get it?
Is this update already officially available at dealership?

Yep, took it to the dealership. Had the TSB printed out just to have my bases covered.

Nice.
Few weeks ago it was not yet available here in Lithuania. Let's give another try.
I bet local dealers already hate me for asking for an update every single week.

EDIT:
Has anybody from EU got this 3853 update?

has the favorites problem been resolved after you got the 3853 update a couple of days ago?

No issues so far, but after dealing with this b.s. for two years it'll take more time for me to feel confident it's fixed.
