2015 Q7 3.0 Pricing Question
Hi, all. My wife is looking to replace our minivan with an SUV with a 3rd row. We are considering the Audi Q7, Acura MDX, Infiniti Q60, Volvo XC90, Hybrid Highlander, etc. There are a lot of options in this space. We like the Q7, but the three primary cons (in comparison to other options) are fuel efficiency, some lack of current technology, and price. The Audi is the most expensive option we are considering when comparably equipped, but we may be able to get a significant discount off of MSRP as the 2017s are expected to arrive in early 2016. I was offered the following on a build that is pretty much exactly what we would want:
2015 Q7 3.0T w/ cold weather plus package, towing package, Audi guard protection kit, wheel locks
MSRP $58,465
Discount ($5,500) - 6% supplier discount + extra to move old inventory
Loyalty Rebate ($1,500)
Sale Price $51,465 (12% off of MSRP)
Thoughts on price as well as other pros / cons with outgoing Q7 model?

The only other vehicle that you mentioned that is close to the same level as Audi is Volvo (with the new XC90 of course). The others aren't, so obviously expect to pay lots more. 12% off MSRP is great, but you should get more with the financing incentive. I was recently offered an additional $2000 off if I financed through Audi. I noticed you didn't have that listed. I would definitely ask about it!
