5 years later and with a 2015 Premium Plus now, I know what it is. The advanced headlights with cornering beams also get brighter at higher speed. Happens on low beam at about 72 mph. Our newer Q7 doesn’t have this and the cornering beams that our 2011 Prestige had. I miss it.

Thread From the DEAD--I personally would just leave the light switch on off, then manually turn the parking lights or headlights on as needed. Just like the good old days! before the car did the thinking for you.......LOL

Thanks! Now I am thinking my problem is different from what you describe. I've experienced what this "flickering" while driving at all speeds and have even experienced it while at idle in my drive as well as stop lights. I'd almost describe it as a brief electrical short.

I'm having a problem where the normal headlight on my 2012 Audi Q5 S5. The headlight goes on as expected when the conditions get dark, but as soon as I press the brakes or turn on the high beam, the headlight goes out and the display error appears.

Was thinking it's an electrical problem and not a normal bulb replacement issue. Does anyone have any advice before I bring it to the dealer or mechanic for repair?
