Head light dipping problem.
I have done everything on the forums to fix a reoccurring light dipping problem. I even took out the fuse for the self leveling function. Even changed the housing. When I am driving often my lights start to turn off and the right and or left light dipped light come on. It's only for a second or two but it is really annoying. Could it be ballast? Combi Switch? Any Suggestions?

I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing..... but
I had the "left dipped headlight" message problem. No idea what it meant since I have standard lights. Nothing special. I noticed the bulb was out ... somewhat intermittedly... tap the housing and it would come back on.
Come to find out "dipped" means "low beam" in German or so I was told.
Took it to the dealer, they replaced the bulb, problem solved.
