1) Audis must be traded in to an Audi Dealer. Settlement question 43 covers this.

2) I doubt funds would run out or that VW would file for bankruptcy.

This is why it's bull**** that Gen2 Q7 didn't get a buyback. Every owner should have been afforded the same opportunity and then let VAG figure out what to do with them after.

Gen 2 buyback amounts wouldve been insane. Judge prob took pity on them.

End of the day you get to keep the car that you love and $10k in your pockets. Still seems like a win to me

Didn't say it wasn't a win

I'll take the $10k and step back down off my soapbox now..

If the new vehicle limited warranty on your Generation Two Eligible Vehicle has expired, Volkswagen will extend the terms of that warranty for covered repairs performed by a Volkswagen, Audi or Porsche authorized dealer based on vehicle conditions that arose after January 31, 2017 or the expiration of your new vehicle limited warranty. The Class Bridge warranty will expire on the date on which an Emissions Compliant Repair for your vehicle is approved or disapproved by the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board.
What does this mean? Does it mean that the Class Bridge warranty will cover everything that that New Vehicle Warranty would cover? Or would this be limited to the emissions systems?

Q: it mean that the Class Bridge warranty will cover everything that that New Vehicle Warranty would cover?
A: Yes

Q: Or would this be limited to the emissions systems?
A: No, not until the fix is released and the Bridge Warranty is ended.. post-fix warranty will cover engine/turbo/fuel system and everything attached to the exhaust.

Correct. I called Audi USA to verify before scheduling my service at my local dealer. The latch on my center armrest is broken (I'm at 52k miles) and it is being fixed under the extended warranty. So this should cover everything that a new warranty would cover...don't let your Audi dealer tell you otherwise.
