Good Afternoon everyone and thanks in advance for the information.

I am currently looking to do an EGR, DEF delete and tune to my Q7 diesel. My question is, does anyone know what the max torque suggested is for the transmission? My tuner figures we will make another 120 ft/lbs bringing me over the 500 mark.

Whos doing your tuner that dont know what the transmission limits are? Thats kinda concerning, they have much experience diesel tuning?

Malone Stage 2 puts out 490ft tq and his tunes are excellent and quite safe.

He's a local friend of mine, he does this stuff all day. however I've got a client wanting to tune his as well and he was concerned about the longevity of his transmission if he does the tune.

ah, it'll hold up just fine.. AFKIK nothing special was done to the Aisin in the V12 Diesel Q7 they made in Europe.. that beast put out 738 lb⋅ft off the factory floor.
