Default What is the functionality...

meaning, which buttons on the keyfob do you use to lower and raise windows. I'm assuming you hold the lock to raise, and the unlock to lower. Does it also close the panaramic roof?

I know it's been about 3 years since this thread was updated, but fortunately the info is still good... except...

Anyone know if there is still a Vag Com owner database? The www.steve-hall.com link from the previous page doesn't work anymore. I realize there are probably some concerns about privacy (which surprised me when I saw there was a database) but if there's any way to locate someone I'd appreciate being able to.

BTW, if anyone is in NE Ohio (Akron, or Cleveland area) I'd be happy to visit you and bring some of your favorite beverage.

I get the add 128 to module 46 part that is how i added this window feature on my A4. I don't understand the adaption 61 62 part. are we changing more than one feature or do we need to change multiple areas to enable the comfort window feature? I am having service tomorrow and in the past my dealer changed my codes for me if I new what changes I wanted to make.

Thanks for the information. I just performed the procedure on my 07 A6. It works fine.

Having just taken delivery of my Q7 yesterday, I decided to see if it was possible to enable as it was in my A4. I'm happy to report that YES, you can activate this feature and it's really, really simple to do (provided you have access to a CAN compatible VAG-COM cable).

To do this, simply add 128 to the coding of module 46. Adding 128 enables "Comfort Function via Remote". I also change the adaptation channel 61 from 10 to 15.

Module 46
Recode: 7632925 -> 7633053
Adaptation, Ch 061: 10 -> 15

I used the information provided by <a href="http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Audi_Q7_%284L%29_Comfort_System">Ross Tech's Wiki</a> as a guide.

In case anyone wonders, yes, pinch protection still works. I still have my fingers to prove it :-)
Does your sunroof close?
I have everything working but the sunroof closing with the fob.
I have enabled green screen and I even have VIM (video in motion) working.
Still working on the auto folding mirrors.
I tried to change the splash screen but I am unable to save my changes for some reason.
Any other kool mods you have done?
