The 400hp sounds appealing. How much does that cost? Do you notice the difference much? I just purchases a 2011 S-line myself but no dealer here mentioned the upgrade. I had to sell my G35 so I miss the fun of it and 400hp might help me not miss it so much. Nice ride btw.

Does Stasis have the tune available now?

That's what I want to know. They have it for the S5 for the same engine, I'm guessing it's the same. I saw somewhere it was $1600~ for the ECU upgrade only. Maybe audiparts or something. I guess I should just call them and ask.

I only have 3 now 4 posts, but you're probably right.

I called STaSIS just now and they said they only have the ECU mod for Q5 right now and they don't know what this guys is talking about. But they are working on it and will probably be available around the end of the year. Even though the S4/S5 have the "same" engine, the encryption would be different for the ECU upgrade so it's not just as simple as it would first appear. This is what they told me. I left a message with one of the engineers to call me back, so maybe he can give me an ETA on it. I'll let you guys know.

Does anyone know the details of the differences between the 3.0T that puts out 272HP and the same engine that puts out 333HP? I'm guessing it is a software change and nothing to do with actual mechanicals. If this is the case, I would be a little concerned about longevity of an engine rated at 272HP on the low end, putting out 400HP+ on the high end, with no mechanical reinforcements. HP is not free. However, maybe it is free....the Audi website rates the 272 and 333 HP engine as getting exactly the same mileage ratings. Pretty impressive that you can get the extra horsepower for free....not.

Would be an Alcentara headliner.. which i believe was dropped as an option for 2011 in the US. The S-Line comes with a black headliner for 2011. I have the Lux package (2009) which did come with the Alcentara headliner and extra leather on the dash, doors, etc. Looks nice but so does the black S-Line headliner for 2011.
