Default 2011 Q7 Rear Wiper Fuse

Hi All,

I've got an issue with my rear wiper randomly working even when switched off on the stalk. I think it may be water ingress in the motor which hopefully I can get sorted from the dealer (only had the car 2 weeks). Problem is I go away next week and don't want it keep activating itself so could someone advise where the fuse is located so I can just take it out until it's fixed?

Cheers

Even when wiper stalk is pulled to off position, rear wiper will sweep once when you reverse when front wipers are on or in auto and rain is sensed. Could that be what you are seeing?

I don't think so as it has come on even in dry conditions. Very strange...

If the rear wiper only cycles when you go into reverse 'on its' own', then that is a coded feature, not a fault, and it can be turned off via coding.

If you get completely random rear wiper activity not related/matching to the above description, then that's more likely to be a fault in the circuit, or ground, etc. On this car, you really have to hook up a VAGCOM capable scan tool and run a full scan to search for internal fault/error codes, etc. If you use an OBDII type scan tool, you won't see any of the internal control modules fault codes...just can't see them...need a VAGCOM.
