Default 2013 Q7 30 pin adapter

Anyone find an adapter to convert the factory 30 to a 8 pin connector for newer phones and iPads? The ones I have found all say they do not support audio transfer.

Two things happened:
1. I found an adapter that worked in my “never throw anything away” box of Apple crap and it worked. Unfortunately I don’t know the source. If you are looking on Amazon, read the details carefully as so do not support music transfer.
2. I located my elderly iPod which had the 30 pin connector originally. I made sure my music was updated and now that one stays in the glove box connected. Awesome being able to select from my own music files.
