It would probably make a difference as to which engine you have.

Default what is your goal

If you have looked around and have the 3.0 tfsi you should already know that there are virtually no tuner options available. the SQ5 produces more HP than my 2012 prestige s line so you might be able to do something with that technology but 20 HP is not worth it to me anyway.

so i have 333 hp ,and the max you can get is what and where are you going to buy that 104 octane, sorry but it just doesn't make sense to me especially considering that you would only be able to use that HP less than 5% of the time you are driving not to mention the adverse affects on your engine and fuel economy.

It does not make sense to me either in a Q7 ( or even my S5) but it IS available and the linked tune is for 93 octane. ( 91 octane tunes available too)
I will say that my old 2001 TT has APR tuning. It has been a blast for over 100,000 miles. I still drive it at least once per week. It is my track event car too.

Gassers will adapt to whatever octane you put in it; theres not a premium and race fuel tune.. its a Stage 1 tune and if you put race fuel in it advances the timing on its own thanks to knock sensors on the engine.. go fill it back up at the pump and it will retard the timing..
