The science wasnt great. Why did they not fill to teh spill. 1 click of the gas pump could make 5-10% difference on that little test.
Even at 120 to 150 kmh about 75-90 MPH my car shows consumption of 4.5l per 100 kms (thats over 50 MPG Imp) in the right traffic conditions for quite long periods but the car never returns that by the tank.
The given Audi figures are very accurate.
Still it was a fun video to watch (comments too) and you guys will only ever make your minds up for real after you have the damn things.
Amazing how diesels were blamed for the smog in London yet no one gave a thought to LA having smog.
For pollution, diesel (at least when fuelled on distillate instead of the vegetable oils they were originally designed for) appears to be just like gasoline engines were when catalytic unleaded fuel was new.... the old tech engines pollute badly but the new ones are fine.
