Evaluation Q7 3.6 Premium, First Impressions
My wife and I picked-up the MY07 Q7 3.6 Premium this morning which the dealer is providing us for evaluation. This Q7 has some options (like cold weather, four-zone, 19" rims) but it doesn't have the convenience pkg. First impressions are very positive. Ride quality, fit & finish, slight lines and engine response is very good. To be honest, I was really surprised with the amount of pep the V6 has (especially with the transmission in sport mode). I didn't take a lot of time to become comfortable with the MMI. I will have a better idea by tomorrow but this is looking like it will be our next vehicle (current one is XC90 V8).

We came from a Volvo XC90 and have never looked back. The Q7 is.......
definately a step above the Volvo XC90. The fit and finish, technology, and especially quattro. I could always tell when the Volvo system was trying to put the power down. It was very intrusive with a lot of torque steer through the front wheels.

We traded our Volvo 1 year ago to a 3.6 Q7, the Audi is a much better car in our opinion, steering, brakes, power, space, features and quality.
I would consider the conv pkg, the adaptive xenons are great.
