Default Alright, I need help on 3 seperate issues

hey guys,

I've got a 2012 q7 TDI prestige sline. I've had fault codes for months. Dealer finally said it was a level sensor on the front passenger side. That was changed. Worked fine for a day than all of a sudden tpms light, green suspension light, and of coarse the suspension is inoperable. Took back to the dealer. Its got codes two of them 02645 I think.. and it has the compressor overheat code which I'm told is no big deal. Long story short dealership said it has moisture in the syste.. quoted 1600 to out new dryer on it clear lines and some "fix kit" audi does because its a known issue. Howevee they won't guarantee it fixes it. A European specialist place says it is not filling the reservoir fast enough throwi g the code and say its the compressor, they want 2200. The comoressor was replaced when I bought it last year.. a cheaper knock off. Its still under warranty so I got a new one. I wanted to try to tackle this myself?
The dryer is part of the compressor correct? Is this something I can do in the garage myself? Can I clean out the air lines so I dry them out if there is moisture in the system as stated? Also I hear the 2013 and newer models have a heavier duty relay for the pump under the steering wheel area? Does anyone have this part number? Last but not least the vehicle has 140k on it. I want to do a trans drain nd fill or filter swap as well as diff oil change. If it hasn't been done yet is this like other vehicles that at this point it may cause issues? I know audi says lifetime fluid... but thats b/s in my opinion. I just don't know if its too late? Thank you thank thank you for ANY HELP GUIDANCE!

The air stuff I have no clue.

The idea that changing fluid on a high mile transmission that was never changed causing issues is a wise tale of people who shouldnt be touching the transmission in the first place. just add shudderfix... LOL

But back to your transmission at 140k... 100% change that fluid out its gone beyond its life expectancy. Change if before the transmission starts slipping and causing damage.
Then change it every 75k or 50k whatever there after.
Dont put additives like I suggested for "other" cars.

Having just done this, the kit was $40. $20 for new piston ring and some bolts and the other $20 for new dryer media (desiccant beads).
The removal of the unit was the toughest part, the dryer part was super easy to do.

It's great you followed up with a general comment on this older, inactive thread, but maybe you could provide some supporting details like part #s, where sourced kit from, hints/tips on access and removal of the parts concerned, problems or challenges encountered, etc. Also, maybe what prompted you to do this service on your air suspension in the first place...symptoms, error codes, a dealer or mechanic's 'repair quote from hell' etc.

All the folks with air suspension cars will surely thank you for the details when it comes our turn to address this.

I have started an entirely new post where I will try to keep all this organized.
