Audi side assist: Sytem Fault Help Needed
My side assist failed a couple weeks back, i scanned today. Can anyone tell me which side the faulty sensor is on? I was told the bumper cover needs removed to access this, so not a winter priority. Still, would like to know which part and side to replace. Thanks!

02850 - Control Module 2 for Lane Change Assistance (J770)
J770 is the name of the sensor, Googling that lead to this thread. Looks like it is behind the rear bumper cover.

Darn it. Pothole's link sent me down a rabbit hole a bit. However, I came across this TSB for the later 4Ls that applies to an issue I have occasionally, and it has a fairly good shot of where the module(s) are mounted on the shell. I'm not really sure if you could access it without removing the bumper (if that's all you're in there to do), but it's more possible where they're located than pretty much anywhere else under there.
