Call Back Action for electrical rear hatch
Hi folks,
found a letter in my mailbox from Audi. They ask me to contact my dealership since there might be something wrong with the electrical rear hatch. According to their letter, the hatch might close suddenly without any reason. A software-update should help the problem.
Anybody had problems with an unwanted closure ?

Not problem ...safety update. Recent thread covered this (at link)
Basically a strut failure in open hold position will allow the electrics to release and cause lid to drop as if in manual mode. One strut will not support weight so lid slams.
Update to software prevents full release of electrics. Good recall IMO<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/q7/threads/3081.phtml#19041">Thread from below</a></li></ul>
