Finally got our Q7 TDI
After a full year of shopping and build order mistakes and delays, we finally took delivery yesterday of our 2011 Q7 TDI. Love the 8 speed tranny, love the torque, love everything about it. Specs:
Premium Plus; Cobalt Blue/Limestone Gray; tow pkg; cold weather pkg; warm weather pkg; 20" Bi-Color wheels; Audi Care.
One question - has anyone found that the heated seats don't get very hot, even on the highest setting? I seem to recall the seats getting much hotter on our previous Q7 ('07) but it's been a while so I'm not sure if it's just my imagination. Definitely does not get nearly as hot as the seats on my BMW.

Congrats on the new ride. Sounds like a sweet setup. Getting the Audicare was a good move too.
The heated seats on my '10 TDI aren't exactly blazing hot either. The seats on my wife's A4 Avant are much warmer. So based on what I've experienced you're seats are probably fine and you're just used to them getting hotter in your other cars.

Congrats on the new ride. The heated seats on my '11 TDI gets very hot at 6. I usually stay at 5 or 4. Especially now with 15 degree temp, I will start at 6 and after about 5-10min I will drop to 5-4 on the setting.

I haven't used the heated seats in a newer Q7, but the ones in our 2008 4.2 get so hot on level 6 that one should really be concerned about having fertility issues!!

Had my 2011 Q7 prem. plus about a month now and I noticed the seats don't heat up while warming the vehicle. They seem to get much warmer after sitting in seat a couple minutes. Possibly connected to the weight sensor in seat or seat belt sensor? Also heated steering wheel = best invention ever.

I love the SLine look on the Q and that's why I got it. But you also loose the heated steering wheel.
Anyone know the reason why SLine steering wheel has no heat? I miss that from my other cars.
