Help with am/fm static noise
I removed the stock subwoofer to measure and clean and now all I hear is static. Music through apple works fine? This is after putting it back in what seems to the same way

Anything disconnected on this car creates trouble codes internally. You need to have a VAGCOM/VCDS or similar scantool that speaks German (Volkswagen Auto Group or VAG). Scan the entire car for faults...make note of what you find or simply forward them to yourself depending on the scantool, etc., and clear them all.
