P310b code - solved
long story short.
having p310b for years. Accusing a hpfp, camfollower, cam-shaft, g410 low pressure sensor and in tank fuel pump were wrong. they were not a problem.
I found crack on a broken seal of the fuel filter housing. flange or canister whatever has leak at in side of fuel tank.
I got the seal from auto part shop. it is for FORD and GMC oil seal assorted on. one of them is right size. the assorted o-ring pack was $6.
Also, i washed a fuel filter with acetone. a lot of pinkish pigments or dust came out.
After that no more p310b code. I do not miss that code. I had that too long.
I hope that this can help to other p310b club members.
2007 Q7 black, 158,000mile.
P.S, almost 160k mile on this car, I never change the transmission fluid, since I have this car, which is 2007.
Does this ATF really cover life time?
