Parking Sensor Problem...
Has anyone else had a failure of a parking sensor? One of my rear ones constantly beeps when reverse is engaged, despite no obstructions. Going to remove the under bumper cover (or whatever it is called) and have a look. Hopefully it is just the wire that has become unclipped. Do you know if the sensors can be ordered separately or do you have to order the set? (I bought the car in the UK but reside in Ireland so warranty repairs may either involve a trip back home or a rant to the local dealer here, neither of which are particularly appealing at the moment)

Do you have access to a VAG-COM? Most likely there's a stored code.
The sensors are not terribly expensive, IIRC, but if the control module itself is bad, it'll be pretty costly to replace OOP.

Everything else with the system is fine, so it is just the one sensor...
Agreed they are only about 50 euro each and they're easy to fit. Hopefully it's just a connection. The roads here are rubbish so it has probably worked lose over the bumps. I'll get my mate to plug the car in and see what codes come up.
