Plastic covers for LATCH points in second row?

i see on tdi they are covered:

if someone has them in black i will buy them, i do not have have those and chickdr is right it looks cleaner with them in place.

Yes, a mystery part. I had one of those on My M as well. It took forever to find the correct part. I don't know why I always need stuff which can't be identified. Someone will step up I am sure. Please?

Just received the parts. They are not the correct item. What I need is the cover which attaches to the metal bar inside the LATCH point(it covers the hole when the LATCH points are not in use). It should only be in 2010/2011 Q7's as I never saw them in the 07-09 loaners I had. Just wanted others to know in case they saw this thread.

Sorry about that. There is only one other item listed in ETKA in the same area and it is not pictured. The part # is 4L0-887-187-K38. Being the only other item in the LATCH area I would have to imagine that it is what you are looking for. For people looking for black the last three would be "4PK" instead of "K38". They are $7.19 each on our site (special order).

For the record, I looked up the ones I wanted and found 4L0.887.187.4PK (BLACK).
They are in fact the covers for the LATCH mounts.
Ordered received and installed.

Wow that was quick. Mine are supposed to arrive Monday. I paid 7.18 each, I think. Glad it was sorted out. They do look better in place, eh?

definitely, my apologies for jumping the gun on you, i thought you were referring to the plastic cap surrouding the latch bar not these covers.
