So... Does Q7 comes with roof cross bar standard? I heard that Q5 comes with them and wondering if Q7 suppose to or not.

I have the standard rails but looking to buy a cross bar to carry something on the roof.

Ideas?

Nope. Get a Whispbar set. They are a heckuva lot nicer than the Audi accessory option.

Another option I saw were the rihnorack bars on autoanything.com. Excellent reviews for $250.

Rhinoracks are good racks, but the Whispbar is much lower to the car and MUCH quieter.

If you plan on leaving the crossbars on all the time, get the Whispbars. If you plan on putting them on only when you're going to use them to carry something, get whatever quality set (I'm not familiar with Rhino but Thule and Yak are both great) you can get the best price on because whatever you're carrying will make far more sound than the bars anyway.

I like the Audi ones because they are high and let you carry skis with out the bindings hitting and scratching the roof.
