Default Recrangular pieces on 2013 Q7 rear bumper

Anyone know what the two rectangular pieces are for in the rear bumper of the Q7?

One of ours seems pushed in and I wanted to see how easy it might be to remove and try to fix.

Thanks!

Do you know if there are places on the front to install a tow hook on a 2013 S-Line prestige Q7? Just wondering if a took hook can only be installed on the rear.

Should be behind the grill beneath the turn signal in the bumper. Check your owner manual.

Those rear squares are also used to cover access to the screw holding the tail light assembly so that it can be removed to replace a bulb.

If I'm not mistaken these hooks are required on all European vehicles, which is why you'll see these small covers on all Audi's, BMW's, Volvo's, etc.

Will also see them on US vehicles that export to Europe. Good example is my old Cadillac STS.

I had the exact same issue. Push the left side of the cover and it will pop open. Clean out the inside of the housing and then push the cover closed.
Mine wasn't closing properly as it was full of road debris. Hopefully yours is as easy to fix.
