I don't think you would want to. It would cost too much, and it would also be too much hassle to get the power closing trunk.

No,just remote lock opener...Didn't realize that the tailgate actually is pretty high.Its impossible to close for kids. Thanks anyway everyone.

so it would be out of reach too anyway.
You cannot remote close even with electric.
Kufatec solution (I got it)only works by double clicking "Lock" which is no use if driver has key elsewhere or anyone in car.
Basically Audi need to cop on and make it possible to CLOSE from drivers door or fob TRUNK BUTTON double click!

At least make it VAGable so liability on us.

Is there no way to VAG this? I have seen other threads in which is has been suggested that the lack of a closing function is for safety. All I know is that most mini vans have this feature and these vehicles are mainly family movers.
