Some 2013 Q7 Issues
So I've had my S Line 2013 Q7 for a month and have a few questions for those who might know.
After it rains and the car is driven when I open any door there seems to be road grit and sand along the inside of the door. I see where the rubber seal is but on the door inside edge sand seems to get stuck there until you wash it and of course you don't want to run your rag over it then the car.
I'm getting some weird road noise when I drive, I think its the low profile tires but it seems to be on the drivers side, also when I make a tight low speed turn I get a griding noise like the tire is rubbing.
Let me know what you think, or I'll run it to the dealer

Guessing that the 7 is like the 5- the seal is not along the bottom edge of the door, a significant amount of dirt collects on the inside, bottom of all four doors. Kind of disgusting.
Depending on the size of the tires you might have, one rubbing on something, have the dealer take a look, you might need a small set of spacers to move the wheels out a bit.

Every Audi I have owned does this. The put an oily substance in the doors. The oil attracts dust and dirt.
It gradually gets better. My wife's 2008 barely does it any more, my 2011 is getting better as well. That's the price to pay having a newer Audi.

I ad the same problem on my A7 - turned out there was a TSB for a missing seal on the bottom of the door. Q7 is 2 weeks old, will keep an eye for similar and ask dealer about it next time I'm in.
