I've been looking for a set for several years. I still wasn't able to get the carpet for it, so I had to modify mine. Not ideal but everything will be hidden under the seats so I can live with it.

Now you need to get the mini-fridge that goes inside of it haha. Even harder to find than that was I'm sure.

I had considered it, but yes they are hard to find and none of the wiring would be present.

Some more progress this weekend

Nice! Remove the rear seats for just a four seater car. I like that. The rear row is useless except for the very small (and short).

We thought about it for quite a bit, but in the 4.5 years we've owned it we are pretty sure it's never had more the 3 people inside.

Progress has been slow but another peek at future modifications.

Alcantara upgrade is pretty straightforward, especially with your crazy good skills!

I don't know how rare alcantara is on the Q7, and whether you'd ever find a complete set via eBay or a dismantler.

I did an alcantara upgrade on my allroad. I had full access to an S6 donor car and stripped/moved most of the interior, including the sport seats and door cards. That was a sweet upgrade.

More recently I pieced together an alcantara package for my Cayenne, but wussed out and had my indie do the install. (Just another instance of the Porsche tax. )

Alcantara is a really nice upgrade! Just sayin'

It should be, you just need the decoder chip for the harness.

Do the paddle shifters work with the decode chip? The 2010 or mine has none

You will need vagcom or the like to activate that functionality.
