Default 2nd row seat metal post noise?

Incidentally someone at the edmunds forum reported similar issue, noise coming from the back/2nd row seat metal post.

I shouldn't be quoting really so I provided the link.<ul><li><a href="http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.f0e3b53!make=Audi&amp;model=Q7&amp;ed_makeindex=. f0e3b53">Audi Q7: Problems &amp; Solutions</a></li></ul>

Some of the motors should be replaced only after removing the instrument panel. (I think these are the right vent motors, but can't remember fully)

Put it like this, I've got the noisy motors, and I'm not having them changed. If they got considerably worst I might consider it, but only just before warranties expire.

Not that I don't trust the Audi UK service guys

Default My friend with Q7 had his seat rattle "fixed" five times..

and finally they got it stopped. It was driving him mental. He was the other guy who had his Q7 replaced over the 5/7 seat mix up. Each time they gave him back his old one as loaner and he said it was so good he thought about keeping it. The last time it was in, some old guy crashed into the side of his loaner so then he definitely didnt want it.
After a couple of days of no rattle he went to let someone into the third row and realised they had broken the whole mechanism and said nothing. It still hasnt been fixed because of seasonal holidays (party last night got info). He is so fed up, he wont give more details at this stage.
