When is your first maintainence service due?
It's 15,000km here in Hong Kong, isn't that too much? I remeber it used to be 5,000km for the first service for my previous cars...

Petrol or diesel?
My diesel is showing 'service!' after 18500 miles for its first. A friend who worked for Vw Audi for years says that it is fine to wait this long, others recommend an oil and filter change at half the recommended interval.

it really depends on how clean the environment you live in is.
The cleaner the air the longer between services. I set my to varible instead of fixed so it will ask for service when it needs it.
